I cannot say enough about Jeannine and the amazing work she does at Canine Complex & Friends! From the moment Teddy (my cavapoo) and I walked through the door, I felt an immediate sense of calm. It was like doggy yoga for both of us—minus the awkward downward dog. Jeannine’s knowledge is next-level, but what really blew me away was the safe, supportive, and positive environment she creates. Teddy and I both feel completely at ease—he was wagging, I was breathing, and we just thoroughly enjoy our training time together every week. I’ve tried plenty of training approaches before, but Jeannine’s trauma-informed, dog-centered methods are a game-changer. No gimmicks, no power struggles—just learning how to truly communicate with my pup. Teddy has gone from “cute chaos” to “confident and relaxed little man,” and I’m forever grateful. Thank you, Jeannine, for your patience, wisdom, and humor. Teddy and I can’t wait to keep learning with you

I have taken two classes at CCF (fearful dog, and agility for fearful dogs), and I cannot believe the improvement that my dog has made. Cassie started off as super fearful of other people and dogs, and didn’t know how to cope in new environments. Through these classes, not only did she build skills to overcome fears and be able to manage herself in stress, but I have also learned so much from Jeannine on how to handle my dog better, and remain calm in different situations. Not to mention, I’ve learned so much about dog body language, and I had a really fun time taking the classes with my dog. If you would’ve given me Cassie today, and said that this is what she would look like in only a few months, I would never have believed you. The turnaround she’s made is absolutely incredible. I highly, highly recommend CCF!

This is a great facility tailored to the dogs’ learning, emotions, their ability to think and make choices, and build confidence for fearful dogs and dogs with trauma. I love that it’s not centered around commands and obedience. I don’t know any place like it in this area.
