Highly recommend Shostakovich School of Music, Art & Dance! My child has been attending this school for years. We are so grateful of the professionalism of the classes, program and experienced faculty. My child attended classes ranging from Piano, Vocal, Art and Modern Dance. Due to the expertise of the teachers, my child gained an immense amount of knowledge, skills and abilities which resulted into getting an acceptance into a gifted school for Arts and Sciences--based on Piano and Vocal skills assessment. My daughter has been attending piano, vocals and dance classes in this school for the last 6 years. The teachers are of high quality. The school organizes performances and recitals every year. It is great for building confidence and discipline. There is solo and group performance. The groups really get along and there is a strong team spirit. It is best for beginner to intermediate levels. The rates are very reasonable too. Conveniently located at two locations in south Brooklyn.

We love this place. Our 2-year old son has been going to Shostakovich daycare for 2 months now. He needed a bit of time to adjust. Teachers were very patient and caring. They made sure that he got used to a new place as quick as possible. Now, he always asks when he is going to go to a daycare. Every day we see a progress in his development, singing, telling stories, dancing, etc.
