After a 6 yr break, I started going to Shimy again back in the winter of 2018 and it's been wonderful. Chris worked on me my first visit back and she's been my go-to ever since. She's so thorough during facials. Extractions have always been painful for me but she makes them tolerable, and she checks in to see how I'm feeling. One time, she worked on me despite having a boot on (from an injury). I trust her advisement on which facial is best suited for my skin, and I appreciate the feedback she gives me after sessions. She's never pushed products after sessions but when I inquire, she's ready with recommendations and explains why they pair well with my skin. I've struggled with terrible acne since I was a pre-teen, and it can be a real confidence crusher during bad flare ups. I'm so glad I have a place to go to now where I know I'm in good hands.

I get the Energy Marine Facial every time and I have a package with them too. The package is when you buy 5 you get the 6th session for free. I see Amy all the time and she's very good with the facials. She takes her time and sometimes I wish she didn't (extraction can be a real pain in the rear.. haha). Also she gives the best neck and shoulder massage even though it's only a few mins. The place is small but not too bad. It can get a bit noisy at times.

Have been a regular client here for over four years now and will continue to return. I go about five to six times a year and have only gotten the regular facial ($35/45mins) and soft cool mask facial ($45/75mins). Both facials include cleansing, brushing, steaming followed by blackhead extractions, and a mask. Whenever I make my appointments I always request for Krystal or Wendy as they both leave my skin texture free and glowing.
