When I lived in Brooklyn I always went to Scissors & Co. Regina dyed my hair, cut my hair and styled it. She is fantastic as a person and professional hairdresser. Then there’s Lydia, who always shampooed my hair and messaged my hair. Lydia is so sweet and goes out of her way to help everyone no matter how busy she is. So, I now live in Westchester and tried about 5 salons. All terrible. I’ll make the trip back to Regina and Lydia. Both are well worth the trip.

This is a neighborhood salon with lots of women who come just to hang out and gossip and try on the costume jewelry and clothes they also sell there. However, the hair stylists are fantastic, do amazing color and blow outs. You can get a cut and blow for about $55. The best colorist is Rosa. Appointments are very easy to get.
