Do not hire. Boris did not listen to the homeowner (me) and did work that I didn't agree to and then insisted on being paid for it before he would finish the contracted job. Definitely want others to know about him. Two years later and my project still isn't finished. Definitely doesn't tell the truth...Stay far away.

We considered several contractors for a large coop apartment renovation. Boris had the necessary insurance (turned out this is rare as our building demands the highest coverage), and was very upfront about the time and price (which was very reasonable). He offered some suggestions in interior design, some of which we incorporated, however followed our style ideas precisely. He had 2-3 people working every day, and all the workers were professional and skilled. Boris himself was easily accessible by mobile phone and addressed several of our concerns. We hit an obstacle mid point as it turned out our ceiling was uneven and not sound enough for repair and repainting (which probably explained how awful it looked and how quickly previous renovation 'wore off'). Instead of covering things up and painting as we intended, Boris spent several extra days using Sheetrock and tape to repair the ceiling and prepare it for the new paint, which we appreciated immensely. The apartment is looking brand new for the first time in 20 years. US Levin's work is high quality, and Boris has integrity and professionalism.

We contracted with Boris long distance to do some major work on a co-op we inherited. We live in Ca, so you would think it would be difficult. However Boris respectfully treated my wife and I ,and always answered his phone and emails in a timely manner. I never got the feeling he was too busy to deal with me. The work done was top notch, and came in on budget and on time. I had my brother do the final walkthrough and skype me the results. He will work with you and do what needs to be done. I would highly reccommend him and his company.
