I was referred to this location for social work by my primary care Dr & I initially had an appointment for today 6/25 and I had found out on 6/25 that they rescheduled my appointment for yesterday 6/24 & cancelled my appointment without notifying me and making me aware of any changes to my appointment. They had to had changed it yesterday on 6/24 because I checked frequently to view messages and results on MyChart & there wasn’t any changes to the appointment until last min. I did call to try to make them aware of it but I can’t even get through to anyone on the phone, it automatically disconnects..

The front desk clerks on the 3rd floor are rude and display no professionalism whatsoever. Today my appointment was cancelled unbeknowns to me, I received no email, no text message and there was no indication of the cancellation in my chart. Instead of them apologising, which we do all the time when mistakes arise - I work in a hospital, they proceeded to ask me for my insurance card, which they already had a copy of; ok so I give it to her. Then she says you have to speak to finance - mind you without the possibility of seeing a doctor today; I said why do I have to speak to finance? She because your insurance is combined. The staff member I was connect to was very condescending. It was unfortunate how I was spoken to when asked a simple question. He was very sarcastic. Very sad experience. I hope clients do not have to undergo this treatment when trying to obtain information.
