I was looking to get long layers, curtain bangs, and a blowout (which sounds pretty simple but you wouldn't believe the number of hairstylists who don't know how to properly cut layers). So ultimately I decided to just bite the bullet and make an appointment here based on all the reviews and I'm so glad I did! I booked with LuAnn and she fully understood what I wanted. She's an amazing stylist and a true master of her craft in addition to being super sweet and accommodating. It was truly the first haircut in my life that I was actually happy with. “I've always had a great experience here. They are so attentive with the manicure, it's the best manicure I've had in both NY and LA. The manicure can go a little long so be prepared to be there longer than the time in the booking. Super attentive, very creative with nail art and colors, top notch service always. They're also really honest, I booked a future appointment with one artist and received a text saying based on the art I wanted I should see a different artist, I appreciated that! “I’ve been going to HeLi regularly for about a year now doing gel extensions and fill. I have to give love to Cindy and Lin. They are so incredibly meticulous and take great pride in their work. My nails always look immaculate! Cost is reasonable especially considering the market and the quality. Also, gel extensions/fill takes awhile but they are way faster than the salons I’ve gone to in Manhattan.

“Love this place for a regular and gel mani pedis. They are very clean and the staff is super nice. I wouldn't recommend getting gel x or acrylic extensions here. My nails beds always end up dented, and the extensions never last past the week. They are great with shapes and cleaning up cuticles. The extension undersides often end up chunky, though. I think in a couple of years, I would go back to try extensions again once the staff gains more experience, but for now, I will stick to my regular ol' mani padis.“
