Oof. I walked in and walked out because she was so rude to me.

I just moved to the neighborhood and was looking for a regular dry cleaner. It’s just not worth giving business to not kind people. I can’t imagine what it would be like if anything went wrong.

I would give this place neagtive stars if I could. There are tons of dry-cleaners on Montague. We typically use a cleaner closer to our apt but they were closed and we were in a hurry. We dropped our clothing off at this place and when we went to pick up I carefully looked to see if they charged extra for credit cards or debit cards - there were not signs but I still provided my DEBIT card to be mindful of the "transaction fees" merchants have been charging when you use a card. The employee rung me up with the total as reflected on my receipt, annoucing the amount and proceeded to charge my card, whe n I received the receipt to sign, I could see a $2.95 processing fee was used because I used a card. I asked the woman why i was being charged a fee to which she said it was because the credit card / debit card companies charge the same, which is not true according to my research. Irecognize this amount may seem insignicant but it was the manner in which it was sneakily charged which shows a lack of integrity. In any event, this is very much a poor way to do business and I will not be returning.

I was traveling in Brooklyn for work and my trip was extended longer than expected. I needed a nearby (walking distance) laundromat that offered fluff and fold for drop off service. The lady was polite and kind. All my clothes came back clean and neatly folded and secured in a bag. PLEASE NOTE: this place prefers cash payments if it is under $15.00 which mine was. Good value and quick same day service. I went multiple times on my trip to Brooklyn.
