Gift certificates expire !?! Why? Does money expire? This is actually illegal in NY. I received a gift certificate from MINKA as a present and was never able to use it. The certificate was given to me right before COVID started, on my birthday January 7th 2020. NO WHERE in the certificate , it says anything about expiration dates. They do say it in the website, but not in the certificate I received. Anyways, I obviously I did not even think of going anywhere for a good year, in the middle o a pandemic! Very telling that they don’t celebrate Black History Month, but they celebrate pride month...They do offer a variety of nice programs, even volunteer programs. I would not pay for a program here again.

MINKA makes healing accessible. I had a very powerful Reiki session here in the beginning of the year. With recent shutdowns due to COVID, they have done a wonderful job at shifting their healing offerings and workshops online. I highly recommend them as an in-person and virtual place to rest and restore, as well as learn and grow.
