I had an appointment and when I went there I was not kept waiting. Service was great from the hair washing to conditioning to interlocking. The salon was also clean.
I have an allergy to a particular ingredient in most black hair products. When I communicated this, they were very kind and let me read the ingredients on all the products they were going to use for me. I always bring mine in case and there was no fuss in using the products I brought.
What I didn't like was the way I was charged. When I was booking my appointment I stated specifically what I wanted and sent a picture of my hair. I was quoted a price, then when I got there an additional 120+ was added...read full review

Hey, I've been a client of the owner (Doris), for the better part of 10 years! That's right, way before she opened this business. She IS the REAL DEAL! Best person to ever take care of my dreadlocks. Her Salon & Spa is exquisite and if you ever wanted to experience royalty then you should take your business there. Her prices are very reasonable for the top shelf work that she does. I would and have recommended her talents to others. So many strangers have stopped me to ask me about my hairstyles. In all my years with her I've never had the same one twice.

I decided to start my locs in March, my 1st appt was rescheduled 2nd appt she was an hour late(1st red signal) April I booked for retwist rescheduled 2x after (2nd red flag) hair looking crazy drove around looking for salon that take walk-ins after 5pm drove on Nostrand nothing pissed off I said I will go home while driving on Roger Ave the brightness of the store front caught my eye whem I read the sign MASTER DREADLOCKS, pulled over illegally parked.
