I went in to semi-impulsively get bangs…. Lauren was awesome. she has super light, bubbly energy, and a very precise technique. I used to always have bangs when i was younger, but i’ve never gotten a cut that made me this happy. no regrets at all. They look beautiful, and I can’t recommend Lauren/ high horse salon highly enough (✿◠‿◠)

I’ve been living in NYC for a few years and have tried several salons in both Manhattan and Brooklyn but nothing compares to Kayla at High Horse Salon. She gives the best cut, color, and style.High Horse is such a nice salon with friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere. I always look forward to my visits to Greenpoint to see Kayla at High Horse and would travel from any borough to go.

Jessica Knight is the best and has been cutting my hair for years. My friend recommended her after I had a terrible experience at a different salon where the hairstylist told me I was too fat for the short haircut I asked for. (To reiterate, this was at a different salon but feels important to mention for context on why I like Jessica so much.) Jessica makes me feel safe and gives me the cutest and most perfect short haircuts, just like I like them. I trust her completely and recommend her to anyone!
