The doctors are pretty good. Although I've never had a serious or difficult health issue with my pets. There was a short time when their front desk was really friendly. But the last time I went in the front desk person was kind of cold and rude. They have a new strict rescheduling policy that if you're more than 10 mins late you have to reschedule. I understand but the front desk persons demeanor or delivery was pretty harsh and rude. I was already having a bad day and had been crying and they couldn't squeeze my dog in. My new rescue needed an emergency visit and Heart of Brooklyn was able to squeeze her in. Every staff member I interacted with was polite, communicative, and knowledgeable. Despite not having an appointment, I didn't wait long, and I was consistently updated about her care. I never felt that anyone was pushing certain treatments or medications; it was truly a wonderful experience there. I'm looking forward to being able to bring my pup here in the future.
Heart of Brooklyn VH is helping us have more years with our beloved feline! What really sets this vet apart from other pet doctors is their facilities and staff. For example they have a portable ultrasound machine that they use to take urine samples for kidney function and glucose level detection. The better gear and kind, knowledgeable staff helped us switch our cat’s diet at Stage 1 (out of 4) kidney failure. They are heads and tails above the 2 other pet care facilities we’ve used with our 2 cats.
