“I'm from out of town but couldn't get an appointment with my barber at home before traveling to NYC. Land of Barbers came highly recommended so I made an appointment. The shop itself is clean and welcoming, and the entire experience was top-notch.

Enrico is a true professional, he took the time to listen to exactly what I wanted and offered great suggestions. His attention to detail is remarkable, and you can tell he is a master at his craft. I walked out feeling fresh and confident, with a perfectly executed cut.

“At the start of planning, I was not big on the idea of hiring a beauty team. When I realized there were some logistical advantages to hiring a beauty team, I asked Michelle and Willow House how fast they could get it done, and they worked with me to find a solution that we could get 12 services done in 3.5 hours, which was about as much as I could handle. Stefani, Natasha, and Loretta were incredible, everyone was so happy with their hair and makeup. Stefani and Loretta did a great job, especially with the moms. They stayed calm throughout, finished on time, and kept the vibes light and cheerful. They listened to each of my bridesmaids and me, and did not push any looks that anyone was uncomfortable with. An absolute pleasure. 10/10.“

Went in for a full head of highlights with a head of dark brown hair that hadn’t had highlights in 6-8 months and came out with a beautiful bright blonde balayage that felt healthy! 20/10 would recommend. “I had a wonderful experience at this salon! The space is clean, inviting, and aesthetically pleasing, and the ladies who work there are not only incredibly kind but also confident in themselves and their craft. I visited with my 14-year-old autistic brother and my husband, who wanted to get twists on his short, straight, and soft hair.

The owner was honest and upfront about the challenges of twisting soft hair and explained that the style might not last as long. Despite this, they were still happy to accommodate him and deliver excellent service. The twists turned out amazing, and we couldn’t be happier with the results!

While we waited, my autistic brother became a bit restless, but both the owner and another staff member were so reassuring, welcoming, and patient, which meant a lot to us.

“I had my hair done for the first time ever at Lima hair salon and I was so happy with the results. Honestly, I say she saved my life. After a bad haircut and damaged hair I had to find a place that could fix my problem. Lima was so attentive and answered all my questions over the phone and luckily I was able to come in the same day to get extensions done. Someone there said they call her the magician!
