Do Not, under any circumstances, have a passport photo taken here. Mine was returned as incorrect by passport agency. Now must reapply. In danger of forfeiting expensive trip!
They used to have a nice guy in there around 10 years ago, but the person now is a nightmare. I paid him $40 to dye a brand-new pair of flat sandals, and to fix the heels, which were loose. He gave them back to me and my feet got cut up because he drove the nails in the heels through the insole. I dropped a pair of heels off on a Wednesday for a simple repair and told the shopkeeper numerous times that I needed them for an event on Saturday evening. He ASSURED me they'd be done in time. I showed up Saturday at 5pm (they close at 6) and they were not finished. The man behind the counter (different man) kept telling me to come back tomorrow even when I told him I needed them for an event in an hour. He was very rude and initially refused to even return the shoes to me and flat out refused to give me my refund (I prepaid, stupidly.) Im frankly shocked and appalled that a business like this exists in this neighborhood. Be warned and do not take your shoes here.
