“I have used Avellino Construction for two different projects between August and October. The first project involved the demo of a side concrete walkway and replacement with Cambridge pavers. “I recently used the services of Clearview Roofing and Construction from Port Washington. The company had been recommended to me by a family member and I must say that I was very satisfied with the job that they did and the timeliness with which they were able to complete it.
I was in need of a new flat roof and Eric [the owner] sent out two of his crew members to come and inspect and measure the site. Within hours, I was emailed a contract with all of the information about the job to be done.
I had to opportunity to discuss a few of the details on the phone with Eric and I found him to not only be very accommodating, but also a very affable, funny guy.
The job was supposed to take one day to complete but unfortunately an afternoon downpour put a halt to it. In spite of the delay, the roof had already been prepared and was fully waterproofed so there was no risk of damage. The following day the job was completed. Eric sent me pictures of the finished product and I was very pleased with both the roof and the clean up. It certainly exceeded my expectations!

“I hired Wilmer and Luis to do our roof and siding and couldn’t be happier with the new aesthetic and quality of work. Wilmer and his crew got our roof reshingled quickly working up against a very rainy weather. We were able to get a whole new roof in 4 days. It took several more weeks to finish the siding and any requests we had along the way, Wilmer was able to fulfill without question. He was very competitively priced; coming in much lower than the next contractor’s quote. When we incurred extra cost due to wood rot on our roof sheathing, it definitely was a relief to have saved money on the initial proposal. The only issue I had was communicating with some of his workers, as some did not speak any English and my Spanish is basic at best. Wilmer came by regularly and was able to relay any requests/issues I had to his workers. They were pleasant and easy to work with despite the language barrier. They put up cones and then 5 craftsmen worked all day to finish the job. The cement truck came and went with no issue. Steel mesh was used to avoid cracking.
