My mom and I had such a wonderful experience at the Nubian Hair Studio! We started off with a consultation with Key and told her what type of style we were each looking to do. She was thorough and made sure we understood what the process involved. Key worked on both of us. My mom decided to do a new color and cut to a shorter style. I decided to get crocheted passion twist. Everyone was so friendly and very professional and the owner Alice made us feel at home. I would definitely recommend this place and if I could go beyond five stars I would! They work on all hair types especially natural, and they are skilled in different types of hair styles. Absolutely wonderful experience. In my whole life, I have not been to anyone better than Alicia. I haven't been able to take care of my own hair for a long time due to ongoing health issues, and I went there anticipating to lose all of my hair, so I was expecting to get a big chop, but I didn't have to lose all of my hair thanks to Alicia. She gave me a detox, a protein treatment, and a hydration treatment as well. She also gave me encouragement in dealing with my health issues, and was very accommodating when I informed her of my struggles.

I had the most uplifting experience getting my locs installed. These women are beautiful and knowledgeable. I seen so much respect and professionalism. Key was and is my stylist from now until she stops doing hair. I recommend anyone and everyone to get their natural treated here. My new hair home.
