Unfortunately the procrastinator that I can be… I forgot to order the flowers. Well Bella’s Flower Shop came through for me. Erica who helped me through the process of selecting the perfect arrangement, was very professional and helpful. I was able to select the spray the morning of the service, which was also scheduled for early afternoon. The arrangement made it 40 mins before the service started. “I have been ordering flowers from Lucy's Flower Shop for many years now. We live in upper Westchester, but my wife works at a NYC school down on Marion Ave., and I only come to the Bronx VA once a week. I started ordering from them about 7 years ago (when we got married). Every time I forget, or am late for any occasion...whatever it is...Valentines Day, etc...(but of course, not our anniversary. I never forget that), they ALWAYS come through for me. I have, on many occasions, called at 11am, and asked if they could deliver to her school by 2pm. They do it every single time. And no matter what my budget is...sometimes it's $50, sometimes it's $100...they make the most beautiful arrangements for her. It's almost like they know exactly what she likes!
Anyway, Lucy's is by-far, the best flower shop I've ever used. They are also so friendly. I don't speak Spanish, but they have a daughter who works there, who speaks perfect English. So even with my language barrier, with her help, it's easy for me to place orders, explain what I want, where I want it delivered, and how much I want to spend. And again, they always come through, beyond my expectations. Every time.
I highly recommend Lucy's Flower Shop, and I always tell people down at the VA hospital to use them regularly.
These pictures were for our anniversary yesterday. The bouquet was so big, you couldn't even see the person holding them for delivery to the school. It took up half of the hood of my truck, and almost the entire ledge inside our front window! This is just one of many examples, and is what you can expect from Lucy's!“
