They have been working with him for over 20 years, which speaks to his leadership and fairness. They take great pride in their work. Two teams of two people worked on different parts of the kitchen in alternate days, and all of them were extremely respectful, hardworking, and went out of their way to ensure everything was completed according to our vision. They made it very easy for us to live in the apartment while the work was being done, taking every precaution to contain dust and dirt. At the end of each workday, they used a large vacuum to ensure everything was clean, allowing us to access the kitchen without tracking dirt around. The work was completed in three weeks, as Danny had estimated, despite our continual additions. We aimed for a clean, sleek, and easy-to-maintain look, and they absolutely nailed it. I will not hesitate to reach out to Kitchen Champion again for any other remodeling projects in our apartment.“

“Hiring Rambal Contractors was the best decision I could make. I live in Arizona and needed a complete renovation of an apartment in New York occupied by my special needs daughter. I flew there twice and then left everything in Jorge’s hands. He did a superb renovation, but he also helped my daughter make decisions and even went so far as to accompany her to purchase appliances so that they were the right size. He was always on time and his crew worked nine hours days. When unexpected things happened (like finding rot under the bathtub) he revised his plans and the work never stopped. The co-op required permits, licenses and an enormous amount of paperwork. Jorge jumped through hoops and fulfilled all the requirements. I could go on and on about his outstanding craftsmanship and helpfulness beyond the “contract “. I hope this review is believed because it is true that Jorge is that good.“

“Had Jim out to sweep our stove chimney. I actually thought the chimney had caught fire and we were going to be without the stove until it was swept. As it's our main source of heating and in this weather its not ideal I was very impressed that after explaining this to Jim he squeezed us in and came at short notice. He was very helpful clean and efficient and will answer any questions no matter how daft it sounds. Will definitely be getting him out annually and can't recommend him enough.“

I’ve called a few times regarding minor issues and they’ve been immediate in their response and resolution. It says a lot when a company gets back to you right away. We had all the questions that come with construction such as where do I find a good contractor, will the work be done correctly, will the cost be within my budget, will the people coming into my home be respectful and simply...will they finish??? I have experienced my fair share of construction flops, so I was not too excited about starting our home project.My wife and I met with a few contractors before we met Pascual Mazzella, the father in the father and son contracting company Mazzella General Contracting. We set up the appt and he arrived - ON TIME. He asks us what we would like to do with a pleasant Italian/Bronx accent and then he just listened to my wife explain all the things she would like without interruption. He seemed to understand everything with very few questions and worked up an estimate and we were completely surprised at how reasonable his price was. We were skeptical, as anyone would be but ultimately decided to hire the Mazzella’s (Maverick our dog gave the final stamp of approval. He loved the Mazzellas ?). I cannot tell you how surprised and completely happy we are with the quality of work, the quality of material, the quality of time, the punctuality and the management and overall experience with Mazzella contracting.From demolition to finishing and everything in between, Mario and/or Pascual were there for every step during the project. They would start the day at 8am and work until 4pm with not a minute of time wasted. Their workers are PUNCTUAL, RESPECTFUL, VERY EFFICIENT and CLEAN. Every morning, they laid out what they were going to accomplish that day and it got done. They worked meticulously and at the end of the day left everything so neat and clean to start the next day. The Mazzella’s time management during our project is not something we were used to seeing.Mario Mazzella has a gift for interior design. He helped my wife reimagine and design our kitchen, taking her ideas and expanding on them to be aesthetically beautiful and practical. He made sure we used every available inch of space and left little to waste. We all know that construction projects all come with some surprises that may need to be addressed in the moment or later (if possible). Whenever the Mazzella’s ran into an issue during our project they explained what the issue was and would do their best not to incur extra cost while maintaining the integrity of their work. Here is a word you rarely hear from a customer to describe a contractor… fair. And yet, they were fair with their price and work.With decades of experience in construction, the Mazellas also have excellent contacts for cabinets makers, countertops, windows and much more. Everyone they referred to us, met us with a warm respect. They would all tell my wife and I the exact same thing, “…oh, your working with Mazzella’s, your going to love whatever they are doing for you and they finish!” I didn’t quite understand what they meant until our job was finished.
