“Hiring Rambal Contractors was the best decision I could make. I live in Arizona and needed a complete renovation of an apartment in New York occupied by my special needs daughter. I flew there twice and then left everything in Jorge’s hands. He did a superb renovation, but he also helped my daughter make decisions and even went so far as to accompany her to purchase appliances so that they were the right size. He was always on time and his crew worked nine hours days. When unexpected things happened (like finding rot under the bathtub) he revised his plans and the work never stopped. The co-op required permits, licenses and an enormous amount of paperwork. Jorge jumped through hoops and fulfilled all the requirements. “Working with Danny and his team from Kitchen Champion was a very positive experience, and I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anybody looking for good quality work, flexibility in accommodating their needs, and a highly responsible team. They remodeled my kitchen, including the cabinets, countertops, sink, floor, and paint. They even built a small island that has now become the highlight of our kitchen. Danny responded promptly as soon as I posted my project and followed up in a timely manner whenever I had any questions or requested changes in the project. He provided us with a detailed estimate that we modified as needed. He helped us stay within our allocated budget by offering alternatives to our initial plans. For instance, instead of floor tiles, he suggested considering vinyl floors, and I couldn't be happier with the result. He never pressured us into particular choices; on the contrary, he was diligent in presenting us with different material options and providing contacts to various shops so we could see the materials and decide what worked best for us. We added a couple of extra things along the way, and Danny had no problem accommodating the additional work. Danny leads one of the most professional teams I have ever worked with. They have been working with him for over 20 years, which speaks to his leadership and fairness. They take great pride in their work. Two teams of two people worked on different parts of the kitchen in alternate days, and all of them were extremely respectful, hardworking, and went out of their way to ensure everything was completed according to our vision. They made it very easy for us to live in the apartment while the work was being done, taking every precaution to contain dust and dirt. At the end of each workday, they used a large vacuum to ensure everything was clean, allowing us to access the kitchen without tracking dirt around. The work was completed in three weeks, as Danny had estimated, despite our continual additions. We aimed for a clean, sleek, and easy-to-maintain look, and they absolutely nailed it. I will not hesitate to reach out to Kitchen Champion again for any other remodeling projects in our apartment.“

“Had Jim out to sweep our stove chimney. I actually thought the chimney had caught fire and we were going to be without the stove until it was swept. As it's our main source of heating and in this weather its not ideal I was very impressed that after explaining this to Jim he squeezed us in and came at short notice. He was very helpful clean and efficient and will answer any questions no matter how daft it sounds. Will definitely be getting him out annually and can't recommend him enough.“

“This is a New York based woman owned construction company! They are doing a full gut renovation of a four bedroom apartment above me. I met the owner and she was very approachable. I’ve called a few times regarding minor issues and they’ve been immediate in their response and resolution. It says a lot when a company gets back to you right away.
