I had a relatively short amount of time before the test, and I was still way short of my required numbers.As a last resort, I looked up personal trainers and found Mark. Right away, Mark was able to help my numbers go up by showing me specific techniques to improve my form. After training with him for a few weeks, I was able to pass the fitness test on my first try. Mark also helped me to train and stay in shape after I passed the test.Mark was easy to stay in contact with, and flexible in working around my complicated schedule. He approaches training with a positive attitude, encouraging words, and a good sense of humor. From the beginning, I felt like he was “on my team,” and that he wanted to see me succeed as much as I did.I highly recommend Mark as a trainer, especially for anyone who is trying to prepare for an agility test. I have already recommended him to everyone I know personally who has been in this position, and I will continue to do so.“

I am one of the members that comes in during opening (5:00 AM).Cortney opens and she is the best thing to happen to Retro. She is always on time, which is so important to members working out at this time, as we all need to make it on time to their own jobs on time. Cortney is a breath of fresh air first thing in the morning. She always greets with a nice smile and great attitude. She does not perform just as an employee, but she would make an exceptional manager. Cortney always ensures all the paper towels and disinfectant spray bottles are full. She keeps the front desk/ food prep station spotless. Cortney is the reason I rated Retro Ronkonkoma 5 stars.“

“My first day at Blue Collar Barbell, I was a nervous wreck thinking, I'm not strong enough for this place, I'm not good enough for this place. I can now say I was 100% wrong!!! I initially went to Shawn for personal training and then I found myself training for my very first powerlifting meet. So out of character for me for so many reasons and I did it because of the strength and confidence I gained by working with Shawna! If anyone is even thinking about singing up somewhere, this is the place to go. I cannot say enough about them!“
