Absolutely amazing team highly recommend. I would really like to thank Harry for all you help as I have recently had vertigo after many visitor to the doctors who just put me on medication which made me a lot worse a couple of sessions at active care and thankfully am nearly 100% better. I’ve had lower back issues all my life since my teenage years, so I’ve had chiropractic treatment on and off for over 20 years now. BUT when you have to move to new chiropractic care, it can be a bit like finding a new hairdresser, a new doctor, or a new dentist/optician - there has to be a fit, you have to feel comfortable they’re going to listen and do a good job. When my last chiro unfortunately and unexpectedly passed away five years ago, I stupidly just ignored what I knew was needed in my case - a new chiro with regular ‘maintenance’ appointments to keep my lower back healthy. As a consequence, I’ve probably given myself untold painful back problems again. You tell yourself not to do this, and yet you tell yourself the next chiro won’t be as good and end up thinking your back pain will pass - which it never does. As it turned out not only did the new chiro at ACC train alongside my old chiro, but his wife also used to work at UoY and knows my other half. Serendipitous!! Sometimes, the stars align, fate steps in, and one hour later, after a wee bit of acupuncture and some familiar chiro moves, I feel 100% better. And what’s more this place is literally around the corner from our York abode!! Back pain is miserable - invest in your back health, and don’t stupidly wait five years to go back like I did. And if you’re in the York area, do try this practice, they’re lovely people!!
