“My son has been attending Kwon’s Wellness Karate Studio, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. The instructors are fantastic at engaging the kids, using a variety of techniques to keep them motivated and excited about learning. The facility is top-notch, providing a safe and supportive environment for training. Highly recommended!“
“My daughter and son ( Penelope and Luke) attend classes here and we cannot say enough good things about it! They are learning so much and gaining strength and confidence along the way. The people are wonderful and welcoming. We would highly recommend Goshinkan Jujitsu Dojo!!“
“My 8 yo has been attending Popkin-Brogna for 2 years. It's the highlight of his week. It's the only activity we do that my kid wants to leave the house early for. They do a great job keeping the kids engaged and motivated. I also love that they keep the kids attitude and behavior in check. They are strict and expect every kid to "act like a leader." My kid needs that reinforcement.“
“My 5 year old son has been in Master Jeon's program for the past six months. They do a great job of teaching not only Tae Kwon Do, but also discipline, listening, and respect - all without needing to scream at the kids. Classes are not too crowded.“
“My kids have been going for a little over two years and we love them! They are located in an outdoor mall so there's parking available. The Masters are all great with the kids; very supportive, encouraging, lively, while instructing and guiding the children so they enjoy the class. There are some new kids that come that may be reticent in the beginning; but the Masters quickly get the kids smiling and participating. You can tell they put their hearts and all into each class to make it enjoyable for the kids. They offer sibling discounts as well. And they also have sparring classes.“
“My daughter has been attending classes at Champions for more than a year. We are all very pleased with experience so far. The facility is well-maintained and clean. The instructors are not only knowledgeable in Taekwondo but are also fantastic with the kids. Also, I have seen positive changes in my daughter since she started attending classes. One of them is her increased self-confidence. I am thankful for the positive impact the experience has had on her. I highly recommend this school to parents in search of a martial arts program for their children.“
“The instructors at Ryu's are so patient and amazing. Each day my cousin is excited to get to class! He loves this school and he has been making so much progress.“
“Masters Martial Arts is an excellent place for kids to learn tae kwon do. They also work on flexibility, strength, and agility. Mental toughness, memory, self-esteem are also aspects that improve as well. Master Mike sees the best in each child and knows how to encourage them to strive to be better.“
“My two boys, now ages 10 and 5, have been attending Emerson Souza BJJ for a little over a year and they LOVE it! Emerson is a world champion and an amazing instructor.Emerson is patient, but commanding. He is fun, but thoroughly trains these kids to do and master complex moves. He is genuinely concerned about how these kids approach life in general. He instills patience, discipline, hard work and respect.Emerson brings these ideals and fundamentals of Jiu Jitsu into their everyday lives. From building relationships, working hard in school, respecting rules set by your parents and your teachers, helping out at home to diffusing potential conflicts. He has had a real impact on my boys, who look forward to seeing their coaches and friends, every time they go to class. And not only him, but all of his instructors have the same amazing qualities. It really is like a family.“
“Having both my boys in this martial arts program was the best choice. It is family friendly, the Masters and Instructors really care about the students. They encourage them to excel in all the events they make available to the students. Everyone are always friendly and always have a smile on their face when the students walk in. I most definitely recommend High Performance Martial arts.“
“Anthony is very respectful, made me feel at home in his Dojo.I didn't train there for Martial Arts but took my CCW class certification here love the setting, very clean and comfortable would recommend this school just off the strength of the attitude and environment.. Thanks Arango“
“Great place to train your taught real world self defense and gets you strong and in shape.Sifu also holds multiple black belts I highly recommend“
“Came here for 13 years and counting. Everyone here is so welcoming and amazing, it’s truly a taekwondo family :)“
“It is more than just physical training. It is also about mental training and discipline. This is a school that strives to build all of its students to their fullest potential.“
“I wasn't surprised at how clean and organized it was for reopening. Very well done, thank you for all you do for your members and community.“
“Great little hidden gem of a dojo where its not about the money or the ranks first but traditional Japanese Shotokan. Techniques and count offs spoken in Japanese. Very detail oriented. Kids classes and separate adult classes. Not a mcdojo.“
“Great training and fun. The school is based on traditional techniques with each student receiving personal attention and great respect.“
“I have been attending Busto's Martial Arts as a student and instructor for over 30 years. It has been like a second home to me. The classes are challenging and lots of fun. The head instructor, Shihan Busto, is extremely knowledgeable with many decades of experience. He has an lifelong commitment to the art.Students of all ages and experience levels are always welcome. Whether you are interested in self defense, discipline, competition, exercise, physical fitment, Busto's has a program for you!“
“My son and daughter love it! We joined for them to have a physical activity, but they have learned so much more. It’s amazing for building character and confidence!“
“Excellent facility. It's not just punching and kicking. You are learning proper technique so you can maximize speed and power. The pace is phenomenal, gets the heart rate up and you will definitely sweat if you put in the work. I also like that they do strength training and focus on stretching during the cool down. Great program.Update: Still attending classes regularly, and I am not in the intermediate classes. Focus is on mitt work, Thai pads, and heavy bag. Learning slipping, bobbing, footwork and of course good technique. I had a chance to attend the challenge of champions in December and won 1st place in kickboxing. The sparring sessions before the tournament were invaluable. Great staff, great workout, and yes you are really learning to fight (if that's what you want).“
“Friendly and helpful staff that is great with the children. I like the fact that the children get an opportunity to engage in real physical combat in a safe and controlled environment.“
“This Tae Kwon Do center is great. My son loves going. He has been going since he was 5. We saw the demonstration team at one of the Lindenhurst fairs. Started out with Tiger kids and is now in the Child program. Master Sailor and Master Alex are great instructors. Instructor Karen is the first person you see when arriving. They instill the discipline these kids need. You greet all the staff with a bow and either “Hello ma’am” or “Hello sir”. My son is currently on his orange belt. He was invited to join the black belt club and attends a nunchuck class and just received his Dedication pants. If anyone is thinking about joining they usually run a special to tryout it out before committing. Could not give enough praises about everyone.“
“Seong is the best instructor!!! I learned so much from him and he really broke down the basics for me! I can’t wait to bring my friends!!! So excited for the next class !!!! I recommend everyone to take his class!!“
