“I've been boarding my dog, Gravy, here for nearly a year now. I've always been able to make a reservation, even on holidays where they must be busy. Gravy is dog reactive, so I was apprehensive about boarding him with other dogs. The staff there have been amazingly accommodating with him, and there's never been a major incident. When one minor incident did occur, to no fault of the staff, they called me immediately to let me know what was going on. Gravy seems genuinely excited to get dropped off there, and the staff seems to love him. The photos they take of him each day reassure me that he's having a fantastic time. I can't imagine going to another boarding facility.“

“This place is hurting for staff, which has made their hours more difficult over the years to make use of, but the owners are very nice and the prices are great. My dog has a blast every time she comes, and she always gets excited when she sees we're on the way there. The staff that are there are also nice, and I always hope one day they might go back to their old hours so I could use it more often, but it's still 5 stars in the meantime!“

“Our one year old female German Shepherd Dog was extremely fear reactive. Even though she was our fourth GSD, we were at a total loss as to how to train or handle her. She would literally go crazy over anything that was unusual, and nothing we would do could calm her down. We were at the point of giving up on her when our Vet recommended Cheryl to us. While we were on the wait list for her Board and Train program we started some one on one training sessions with her. Her very calm and confident way of dealing with Tillie made an immediate impact. Following her training tips and watching her videos allowed us to make significant progress with Tillie. It was like flipping a light switch. Cheryl new exactly what Tillie needed and was able to clearly communicate instructions to us. The Board and Train program was the icing on the cake! In the daily videos that Cheryl would share we could see Tillie's confidence grow by leaps and bounds. She now is a very well behaved dog and a joy to be around and take out in public. Cheryl gave our little girl back to us! We cannot thank her enough.“

“I cannot understand the vitriol and anger directed at this business and the wonderful people who work there. Our dogs went here for several years and there was never any issue whatsoever. The SPCA just reviewed the alleged abuse and found nothing of the sort.
One of our dogs was too aggressive and the staff refused to have her back - excellent judgement on their part that protected all the other pets and the staff.
Before you jump on the bandwagon KNOW what you are talking about, KNOW what appropriate discipline of dogs is and what it looks like and be very very sure you know the facts and aren’t just reacting to what someone somewhere posted.
This behavior is appalling and says much more about the posters than it does about Stay and Play.“
