Everything was tried and the pilot wouldn't stay lit. The tank will need to be replaced (which we already knew). We were hoping to buy a little time before replacing the heater. Not the fault of the plumber. He also gave estimates for other jobs we wanted to have done. He was very professional and courteous.

Fred came in to give an estimate (without an upfront fee) to replace my dishwasher and shut off valves. He came in and seemed very knowledgeable and quoted us a very fair price. I also live in a co-op and when I called their receptionist to collect the appropriate insurance data she was very helpful in coordinating to get the documentation. I'm very happy so far and am looking forward to scheduling my appointment.

Fred came to our house to fix our oil burner that 3 other companies said couldn't be fixed. The last plumber in the house before FJR had said to us, "If there's one man who can fix it, Freddie can" - So I called and he came and in a few hours had it purring like a kitten. It's been a year since then and we've had no issues. I've called him back to install a sink and a toilet and that went smoothly too. Great people to deal with!
