There is no place like Hairstories! I’ve been coming here for six years, ever since I moved back to LI. Everyone there knows what they are doing and your hair is done the right way. Daniella is the best and she is my go to girl. She knows how to get me in and out with an amazing turnout. I wouldn’t recommend any other place to go in Suffolk County. Thank you Daniella and everyone else at Hairstories. Love you guys!!!

Back in 2016 I had my taxes done near the old Hairstories Brooklyn location and watched everyone walk out of the salon with amazing looking hair while I was waiting. I booked an color appointment with Daniella shortly after, and have been coming to her ever since for balayage highlights. I've followed her to Babylon and would probably follow her anywhere within NY State (and maybe even New Jersey) if she ever were to move locations again, she's that good. I realize that sounds kind of stalkerish, but seriously. Not only does my color look amazing when it's first done, but it grows out so well that I only have to have it done once per year. After going to Hairstories about 10 times, I've been consistently impressed, & decided to leave a review: My first experience at Hairstories that impressed me was how accommodating they were when needing my hair washed and braided following multiple surgeries, as I couldn't lift my arms up long enough/high enough to do it myself. As having a wash & braid isn't a standard service, I couldn't book online, so they said just come in anytime, and we will find someone who can do it for you. They also only charged me $25 each time. I also appreciated how kind & understanding the stylists were about how I needed to sit/lay back at the wash station... read full review
