Had a nice lunch of turkey and dressing with gravy, cranberry jell with a slice of pumpkin cake salad and coffee. We were informed that the first Sunday in January they will resume Post breakfasts open to members and the public. Can't wait to get back in my schedule.
This is the home for Avon American Legion Post 294, Avon VFW Post 5292, and American Legion Auxiliary Unit 294. It is operated by veterans for veterans. The hall can be rented out for private and community events by calling the hall office. The hall does not operate a bar, but alcoholic beverages may be brought in for some events. The hall does have fund raisers that are announced in the Genesee Valley Penny Saver.
