Gail has been cutting my hair for nearly 15 years, and I have never been disappointed. Straight or curly, cut or color, she has always made my hair look amazing, and I honestly don't think I could trust anyone else at this point. I moved to Washington Heights after the pandemic, and I still take the train/bus into Astoria to get my hair done. Everyone at the salon is so nice and welcoming, and you cannot beat the prices. Amazing all around. Highly recommend!
Went to this salon after hearing so many positive things about it from co-workers, neighbors and friends. Past experiences from other salons had left me with a permanent dread in having my hair done. But not any more! I came to Imagination Salon with very long, thick and curly hair in need of some TLC. All of my fears from the past have disappeared! I have been blessed. I found Harold. I was coloring my own hair at home and the results weren't pretty. I decided to go for it as he, the other staff members, and the store had given me such good vibes. I needed concentrated areas of my hair lifted due to my own self-performed coloring. Harold then gave me a fantastic haircut, colored it a gorgeous shade of reddish brown and diffused and styled my curly hair to perfection. What a blessing this establishment was for me. I am ecstatic! Thank you from the bottom of my heart Harold and staff. I highly recommend these professional and friendly people.
