“Anthony first did a small sidewalk job for us when our town tagged some blocks for replacement. He was working up the block so when it was our turn most of my neighbors used him and he was able to give us a fair price. He is professional, timely and did a great job.<br><br>Six months later our town replaced our asphalt street and we suddenly developed a sinkhole in our driveway. It was fortunate that we already had Anthony as a contact. He came that day and instructed us on our options and importantly he immediately did a temporary fix so that we could use our driveway. Anthony has a lot of experience and recommended that instead of replacing the entire driveway we could add 4 feet of Belgium block rows that would match the aesthetic of our house and is quite common in our town so wouldn’t look out of place. This saved us a ton of money and it looks amazing!<br><br>Our bluestone walkways and patio were not looking too great with some broken pieces and weeds. It’s been on our list to deal with. Having two kids in college and money being tight, Anthony convinced us that we could repoint and regrout what we have and that it would look almost new. And it does. It has made such a difference and we have one home project off our list for a reasonable price. I highly recommend Anthony!“

“I hired Fine Touch Contracting during a very difficult time in my life. I had time restrained and I was assured by Jamie and Angelo that they could meet my deadline. I needed a company to take care of my rebuild from start to finish without me having to worry about every little detail.That is exactly what they did for me. they rebuild my house and gave me a fresh start that I needed. They have very dedicated and professional crew and they worked hard and fast to meet my deadlines. I was also prompt at paying them the minute they asked for the next payment. They needed funds to do the work, buy the material and pay their workers. I understood that.I also expected them to the Job I asked for, If I had changes to the plan, we agreed on the price and I made additional Payments. Just keep in mind, there is always issues that come up in doing a big job like that, Problems exist in any Job, what to look for is they worked out any issues when they came up and resolved them.Would I recommend them to do a job for me or my friends? The answer is Yes! they are honest and hard working and they will keep their promise to stay with you during the work and years to come.I am sorry to hear that they are getting the bad reviews they are getting but my overall experience with them is a positive one and I love the house they build for me.“

“George Berry Construction truly did a great job on my home project. I needed an attic ladder installed. They really came through delivering quality, punctuality, and professionalism. I know having someone come to your house and doing a major project can be very nerve racking and uncomfortable. “I've been meaning to write this review for months but never had the time to give it the full attention it deserves- it's a lengthy review but they deserve it!!! I reached out to Vinnie from Ammel construction to do a big exterior renovation and it was the best decision we ever made. They did new roofing, siding, new front windows, a new stone porch and built out a portico for us. I cannot emphasize how amazing it was to work with these guys. Vinnie was responsive, flexible, had so many great ideas and honest opinions that helped guide our decisions. The results speak for themselves! The quality of the work is unmatched and still complimented regularly by visiting family and neighbors passing by.I also have to recognize how phenomenal the Ammel team is. EVERY single worker, contractor, whoever was brought into or around our home to do a job was so polite, friendly and respectful. Multiple neighbors have commented on the fact that the team always showed up on time, everyday, was working by the time the clock hit 8 AM and continued to work hard ALL day. Also, I expected to live in a war zone during construction but they were SO clean and made a massive effort to minimize any hazards my 18 month old could have stumbled upon at that time. They are all masters of their craft and I'm so thankful that a team like this exists.Vinnie was always planning ahead, managing the next steps of the project to keep things moving and being proactive with the town in terms of permits and requirements. We never fell behind and thats such a rarity. So many unforeseen things can happen during construction, but I really feel that their proactivity and diligence on our project kept us on track and gave us a beautiful home. “When rebuilding my home on the North Shore of Nassau County, I put the project out to bid with 12 general contractors including Jay of East Coast Construction. Irrefragably, Jay produced the most comprehensive and detailed bid out of every general contractor that I engaged with. Every line item was broken down, (i.e. each electric switch, window, etc. had a dollar amount)His transparency is truly unmatched in a field where most contracts pad and add margins to each line of supplies, in addition to their profit line. Ultimately, I proceeded with another contractor merely because my cousin, the architect worked with the other one more often -- although I was very torn on this decision. It was to my regret, and the next project will definitely go to Jay.“
