“Laurie from the Appel Inn suggested Salon 146 for hair & makeup for our June 2024 wedding and we couldn’t have been happier with the work they did!

Sarah and her team were super accommodating, professional, quick, and fun! We had initially thought about getting ready at the venue, but because of the size of our wedding party, Sarah suggested we get ready at the salon. She happily let us take over half the salon for the entire morning, allowed us to set up food in the facial room in back and use their coffee pot, and even let us pair one of our phones with their Bluetooth speaker.

They had a team of four doing hair and makeup for 9 of us and they kept us right on schedule. Everyone complimented how natural the makeup looked and we loved that it was airbrushed—it felt so light. Sarah even airbrushed color over some bad tan lines on my back! The hair stylists did a great job of catering to every individual style and all types of hair.

Getting ready at Salon 146 was a perfect and relaxing way to start our day, and we’d highly recommend Sarah and her team to anyone looking for hair and makeup stylists for any special occasion!“

“I have been coming here for over 17 years. I have been cut by Lissa, Eslana, and kelly, but honestly any one here will leave you looking and feeling amazing with a fantastic cut. “If I could rate BEX salon higher than 5 stars they would get a million. I have never felt more comfortable at a salon in my life. Anytime I come in I am greeted by name (which really makes me feel valued as a customer) by the affable owner herself,she is a ball of sunshine and bright smiles from the rest of the staff. I had an amazing consultation with the lovely Michael Douglas. He was attentive to my wants & needs while also being transparent about realistic hair goals. He recommended a new haircare routine to keep my hair health a priority with coloring and bleaching. He also recommended I get a quality haircut before our color appointment. My haircut appointment was the other night with Olivia! I can admit I was extremely nervous, but not because I did not have trust in BEX Salon but because of my lack of trust with past hair salons. The second I sat in her chair her warm energy took away any sense of worry I had. I was blown away at the shampoo bowl with the relaxing head massage , conditioning mask and hot towel that they provide you with during your wash. She paid attention to detail during the hair cut and we shared great stories and conversations we both related too. Overall BEX Salon is a safe space for me, and I trust my hair in any staff members hands.
