I was looking for a salon that is a safe space, as I am nonbinary and neurodivergent. Stevie has been absolutely wonderful, and relieved my dysphoria with their work on my hair. They also gave me the highlights I’ve always wanted, and their technique to bleach didn’t damage my hair much, while also keeping it toned better than I’ve ever experienced. I’ve felt so much more comfortable ever since I started coming here! Whether I’m coming for a haircut, a color appt, or a quick touch up of my taper, they listen well and have a good attention to detail that I really appreciate. Updating my review in 2024: I’m still head over heels for The Alchemists Salon. I have been loyal to Katie since she transformed my hair in 2021. While she is on maternity leave, I’ve been seeing Stevie who is a wonderful stylist. They are attentive, have great attention to detail and very nice. They’ve been doing a great job at keeping the hair art that Katie crafted on my head alive in her absence.

I've had the pleasure of working with Hannah twice now. The first time, she provided a wonderful consult and haircut, and on the second occasion, she recommended and expertly executed balayage. Hannah is not only incredibly friendly but also exceptionally knowledgeable. Her patience and meticulous attention to detail shine through in every appointment. She consistently makes fantastic recommendations tailored to my lifestyle, ensuring both my haircut and color are perfect. I genuinely look forward to each session with her. She's absolutely fantastic! My husband has his first appointment with her coming up and we are both looking forward to it!
