The Geek Squad service I've used over the past 3 or 4 years is now going from in store appointments to over the phone virtual IT services anywhere at any time. This is a game changer for me since I used to have to go inside the store to then make an appointment to get service. It's essential for deadlines related to assignments or work.

This must be joke visit. But the review's no joke to laugh at! This Best Buy could be so much more.. it is gargantuan; possibly serving all of Albany and then some. But all the shelves were bare. No DVD. No CD. No cables. No jacks. No lenses. No TV and VCR supplies. A few bins up front with crusty old buys like music from the 60s and dusty chochkee! I did make a buy - but the kid 'Xavier' wasted all my time and after I paid I noticed he never went and got and added the one item I specifically had asked about. So I have to wait again 15 minutes! These workers are gnomes. Like I hate to be mean, but I asked about the empty store and Covid being 4 years ago. "Well, Best Buy the company does not care" Xavier said. Sad! Review:2

Rating at 3 due to us buying a TV a couple years ago and never being sold the protection plan. Also when asked about fixing our 85 inch was told it wasn't repairable. What is the sense in the protection plan for 300 and selling TV over 75 if they cannot and will not fix. These guys call the day before the scheduled appointment to tell us they can't fix it, although the appt was scheduled 2 weeks prior.Bbb will be notified in regards to this matter.
