“These guys never disappoint. My son's hair can be unruly (curls/waves on top, straighter on sides and all around thick) and we have tried other places. We started coming here 2 years ago and his cuts are always great. They look great the day of and best of all, they still hold up when his hair starts growing back in. We usually see Jay, but a few times we have gone to the other guys if we can't get in with Jay. They do really nice work. When I'm there, I'm usually the only woman, but the guys are all nice and welcoming. Time and money well spent.“

“Joe is the best barber in the capital region. I used to take all three of my kids to every high-end barbershop in the capital District, and even the one that’s been opened the longest one in downtown Albany, and none of them compared to Joe.
I’ve been taking all of my kids there since he opened. Best barbershop with the best barber at an amazing location next to Starbucks.

A little different than other barbers, it seems preferred that you show up on time but not early for your booking to let the current customer benefit from a good one on one visit. Michael is as talented at relating to people as he is at cutting hair.“

“Just today, I went to duke’s for the first time, and had Duke cut my hair. I came in looking homeless and walked out looking like i might know people who own boats. Even my phone’s face ID said I looked better than usual, and people around town basically started bowing in my presence.

The equipment was so well kept that i couldn’t even feel it working. I was thinking, “whats goin on back there?” After seeing the results, I can’t ever doubt their work again.
