We went to Smithridge cleaners for a long time.. they recently sold to new owners. We thought we would stay with them . I took in a tablecloth and 12 napkins to be cleaned. They were not really soiled but wanted them to be pressed and look nice. It was $86.00. No way will I ever go back there.
As I have been retired for quite a few years so I havent had occasion to dry clean anything, however, I had purchased a fine hand crafted woolen tweed blanket when in London years ago and it needed attention. I must say they did a great job but I was shocked at the cost. ($38.00) But I guess that's what happens when we have politicians diluting the value of our valueless currency.
When visiting recently I grabbed a blanket out of the dryer and didn’t realize it smelled! I was so thankful to find these kind and caring owners who were willing to clean it for me same day so I could have it to use this evening! Last minute notice, quick turn around request, they were accommodating and so sweet about it! MUCH APPRECIATED!
