I am so very thankful for the wonderful and compassionate staff at Mount Rose. The doctors, we love all of them, take their time and are very thorough during our visits. Dr. Lopez took the time to answer so many questions regarding our dog’s most recent diagnosis. Her compassion and thoroughness made me feel like I understood all of our options and gives me peace of mind knowing I am making the best decisions for my dog. They are the absolute best animal hospital I’ve taken my dogs to! A few years ago my husky was diagnosed with pyometra and she had very little chance of surviving. No other vet would take her in that day- not even her vet at the time- except Mt Rose Animal Hospital. They got her in right away and did the surgery she needed. They saved her life! And their fees are reasonable. I have since switched my dogs to this vet. They also cared for my German shepherd that passed away recently due to old age complications. We have been bringing our pets (cats, big dogs, small dogs) here for 15 years, and have been through everything from preventative to end of life care. They are compassionate and upfront about costs. Dr. Leautier is amazing with my little dog! He actually likes going to the vet.
