Kroll and Lighthouse Optometry

We have been going to the office for over 25 years and up till now it was a great experience, but with the recent office staff, the customer service had gone down. With trying to get approved with insurance and then with the way we were treated to get another appointment and the wait time to get in was very disappointing and we have found another doctor to see. We will miss Dr. Kroll especially since we have watched her grow up to a great person and doctor to follow in her father's footsteps. We only wish her staff appreciated the patients as she does.

Dr. Kara Kroll and her staff, especially the receptionist were outrageously rude to me after I questioned a fee they were trying to charge me for a contact lens fitting a second time because I took over 60 days to return due to my travel schedule. No one ever mentioned that there was a time limit to return after trying a sample lens. You would think they would mention that when they hand the lenses to you. The receptionist was snotty with me when I said I wasn’t happy with the charge and that I had been going to this family practice for over 35 years and wasn’t aware of a time issue. After seeing the Kroll families optometry for 38 years The daughter Kara Kroll and her team were extremely rude to me because I questioned a $125 fitting fee that they wanted to charge me two times because I took too long to get back to them on the contact lens samples. They were horribly rude when I said I wasn't aware that I had a timeline to act. She cannot stand up to the kindness and care her father provided. This team is a disgrace to the Krolll legacy. They had no concern when I said I would now take my business elsewhere they seem to not care after 38 years. The money was far more important than the relationship.
