First Taekwondo

I spent 12 years here as both student and lead instructor. It is the only taekwondo school in Northern Nevada certified through USAT, WT, and the Kukkiwon. Olympic style sparring, poomsae (forms), and cardio training. In other words, it is as legit as it gets. Whether you are a first-time student or a seasoned veteran of the sport, First Taekwondo offers something for everyone. The Tanner family cares about each of their students and you will not leave disappointed.

I've been at this taekwondo school for about 3 years or so now. A true Kukkiwon certified and olympic-style taekwondo school. The school teaches both poomsae and kyorugi (sparring). Grandmaster Tanner made me feel welcome and is a great instructor. He is also the head coach for the Nevada Taekwondo team at UNR. We get to participate in local and out-of-state tournaments as well. Very thankful for Grandmaster Tanner, the instructors, and the other students!
