My daughter has been coming to Aikido of Reno since the summer of 2021. We couldn't be happier with the program. All of the staff are approachable, professional, and kind. It's more than learning about Aikido, there's a strong sense of community here with a genuine sense of well-being for everyone. I can not recommend this place enough.

Since I moved to Reno last year, Aikido of Reno has been my home dojo. The owner and head instructor Vince Sensei was very welcoming, as were the students. Vince Sensei is passionate about aikido and creates a positive environmnent for the undertaking the physical and mental challenges of aikido.This dojo is more than just a place to learn martial arts (although there's plenty of solid martial training going on); it's a place for personal development, self-discovery, and learning the art of conflict transformation through aikido. Aikido of Reno is a great place for young children, teens and adults to train. My oldest son started in the kid's class and moved up to the teen/adult classes. He gained confidence, self-esteem and learn how to de escalate a situation that made him feel unsafe. Aikido of Reno is more than a dojo. It's a community of like minded people. Sensei Vince has been training people in the community for several decades. Now that my oldest is in college, my youngest son is training now at Aikido of Reno and I can see major changes in him.
