Naturally, my A/C went out during the height of summer....I was in my house slow roasting for a week! Thank goodness I live downstairs....so it wasn't as bad as it could have been, but Vegas heat is always bad.I needed to get my A/C fixed right away, but I am weary of all these big companies taking advantage of desperate people, by jacking up their prices, or selling you things you don't need.I heard about Valdez appliance service and decided to give him a call. I've been doing electronics for over 30-years, and although I'm not an A/C tech, I'm not lost as to what is involved....so when I would talk to him about what I thought I might need, he didn't go into a sales pitch.Abel told me my thoughts were on the right track, but he'd still have to check to be sure what's going on. I asked what the cost would be if it were a bad capacitor, or bad motor and he gave me prices for both.BOTH prices were WAY lower than the bigger companies that always upsell you, and pressure you into paying for services you don't need.Not Abel. He figured out what the issue was, fixed it, and his price was exactly what he initially quoted me.I am CERTAIN the bigger named companies would have charged me 2-3 times more than what Abel did. And that's not to say he's cheap, but he's fair....and even more importantly, he's HONEST!!Now my house is cool again, and based on the look of the new parts he put on, I should be good to go for another 5-8 years.Sad I had to spend the money, but happy it was spent with the right person.No buyer's remorse. Just a happy customer!

Abel replaced the AC unit that was on my roof. He was much more reasonably priced than the other bids I received. It was quick and painless. He had a crane arranged within a day. I'm going to sleep in cool, crisp air tonight thanks to him.He has also repaired my dryer in the past. Professional and knowledgeable repairs. I would use this business again.
