“Me and my family are new to Victory but in the short amount of time we've been here has made a great impression. I can see my kids continuing martial arts here for years to come to help meet their full potential! All of the staff are friendly, professional, personable and you can tell they take this seriously and appreciate their students and families. (Knew my kids names the first session to welcome us back our second time!) The studio is open, clean and cool inside! All that to say we're happy and excited to be a part of the Victory family now“
“Gabriel and Yami have a good training style that helps drive their students while focusing on their individual needs at the same time. You have to see it to believe it.“
“The best decision I made was to put my grandson in this school. He absolutely loves coming and is so eager to learn. Master John is the BEST!!!“
“My family and I absolutely loved this place so so much. We’re not sure if it’s for our son just yet, maybe he’s a little young and shy for now. But if/when he’s ready to go back we WILL be coming back here. Mr. Lusk is a great instructor with SO much patience. He gets down to the little kid levels and explains things in ways that they can understand, which I found to be so helpful. Everyone in there was very kind. Very awesome atmosphere! I highly recommend ?“
“As a new judoka who happened to be in town for a conference, it was great to visit Shoshinkan dojo for some judo training. They were very welcoming and allowed me to dive right in. I worked closely with Sensei Mike. He's a great teacher. The other students were helpful and encouraging. Keep up the great work. Jita Kyeoi!“
“I started going to this dojo during the pandemic. Sensei James is a brilliant instructor. Highly recommend this dojo if you’re looking to learn karate.“
“Went here for quite a while. Sigung is a great teacher. All the other instructors are also incredible, Sifu Ellis, Sebok Jones, Sifu Cortez, Sifu Wilson. All of them are talented and dedicated martial artists and are amazing teachers. They regularly hold seminars with highly talented and revered martial artists from around the country. If you want to learn self defence and discipline, this is the place, where hard work and dedication is rewarded. Their training is tough, but well worth it. Best Kwoon (Martial Arts Studio) in Vegas, hands down“
“Sensei Lou is as good as it gets. The patience of this man teaching kids is unmatched.“
“Sifu Jack is a True Kung Fu Master and a Wealth of Knowledge ?If you want to learn real Kung Fu don’t miss the opportunity to train with Sifu Jack Soderberg. ?“
“We've been in Unity for over 3 years now, and I can say it's perfect space for children and adults alike, where they learn, have fun and share. Without doubt totally recommended!!“
“Changed LocationsI think this location switched from here to 7310 Smoke Ranch Road, Las Vegas NV. Called the owner and that's what he said.“
“My son Randen, (12 at the time now 13) started 8 months ago this past April and being that we just moved from Waipahu, Hawaii to the 9th island (Las Vegas), we wanted him to build his confidence within himself because of him being "shy" also with a new school and him being smaller then the rest of the kids we notice a little bullying happening. My husband actually found this place in Henderson, NV; Grandmaster Benny Luna "Uncle Benny" is also from Hawaii, it just made it easier for us to feel right at home...."Home away from home, they say." We started Randen with a no commitment introductory class just to see if it was a fit for him, the other students don't compete with each other instead they are warm and welcoming, it was immediately that our son was eager to start and we enrolled him without hesitation; It didn't take long for my son to adapt and adjust, with the many advices from Uncle Benny, and 1 belt promotion later (6 months later), my son Loves it !!! My husband and I saw the difference within our son, he built more confidence within himself broke out of his shell, and respect for others..Many Mahalos to Grandmaster Benny and Instructors Bill/William/Julian and Connor. The name of this dojo says it all, "Ohana" Kenpo Karate..Become part of it, we are Blessed to be part of this Ohana...“
“Was in Vegas and dropped in for a class great facility, good people and an excellent atmosphere. Definitely worth checking out!“
“As we came out of the pandemic, our 8 year old son was struggling with depression. He had trouble expressing himself and was behind scholastically. Many things played into how his sense of self was restored since then but Victory Martial Arts played a big role. In Nov 2022 we enrolled our son. It was a year-long commitment and was an inconvenience to our schedules. As with most sports, it was an expensive leap of faith. Over time, we found it was worth the investment and sacrifice.Only a few months into attending classes, our son was out of his depression at the age of 10. He was behaving more intentionally and weighing his options more constructively. We are 19 months into our membership. The program has encouraged our son in areas of discipline, belief, honesty, respect, communication, & self-esteem. The program’s focus is less about the lethality of martial arts as a practice and more on the virtuous nature of a healthy martial artist.Master Hopkins cares about his students. He runs his location well and empowers the students who want to grow into being his colleague. He seeks out learning from his mentors and knows every student’s and parent’s names. His profound influence has made an impact on our whole family not to mention the entire Las Vegas community. This is my public endorsement of this establishment. Victory Martial Arts Tenaya is a group of people who do their best day-in-day-out to touch the lives of hundreds of students at a time for the better. Our son loves learning from Mr. Hudak (sp?) and many other student instructors. If you’re considering enrolling in the program, know that you get out of it what you put into it. If your child struggles in social settings, THIS is the best and safest place in town to foster his/her development magically and effectively.I could write 10 more paragraphs about what I’ve observed or what you can expect but instead, here are some videos.“
“Great place to workout and take MMA classes. You can find class for your preferred martial art style such as boot camp, GI JIU JITSU, kickboxing, MMA, Wrestling, cardio kickboxing and many more. Soso (front desk) always will answer all your questions, and make you feel like family from the day one. She is awesome! This place has great coaches Justin, Bryce, Danny, Jake, Gilbert, Dennis and others. Coach Justin is one of my boys favorite, but like I said they all great!“
“This Gym is great. Coaches are there for you. They train you, help you condition. If you have questions, ASK, they're more than willing to teach and show you. My nephew trains here as well, great youth training as well!! We were given Fight Capital shirts, with our package. Learn BOXING, MUAY THAI, and/or JIU JITSU“
“Really good place the staff is amazing. Help you with every need always gives you equipment when you don't have five stars, I'm coming every day“
“Great taekwondo studio, adheres to ATA guidelines with lots of tournament opportunities. Classes for all ages (under 6 Tiny Tigers, kids, teens, and adults). Older classes focus more on technique and tournaments, with higher ranks have separate classes with individualized instruction. We love the mentors. They all have different personalities. The studio is much less expensive than others, with better culture, better individualized training, and family owned. Been going for over 2 years and love this place. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone interested in taekwondo, or in an activity that promotes discipline and respect. The leadership program really focuses on the pillars (only $9 more, and you get unlimited classes). All of it is worth doing. Bonus, the instructors are pretty funny too.“
