“I grew up immersed in martial arts and skateboarding, becoming professional in both. I spent over two decades competing in international tournaments and earned my 5th-degree black belt in Japanese Ju Jitsu (Jujutsu 柔術). Martial arts shaped who I am—it gave me discipline, confidence, and purpose.

Coming from a very traditional martial arts background, Victory’s style was different from what I was used to, so I took my time feeling it out. But once I got to know Master Preston Hopkins, everything clicked. His passion, drive, and dedication are the same qualities I grew up around in martial arts. He is a true master of his craft and an outstanding leader.

I couldn’t be happier knowing that my son Dominic and my daughter Hayden are part of something so meaningful—something that gives them the opportunity to thrive the way I once did. Sometimes watching my kids train makes me miss the days when I used to teach and compete. That’s how real and special this place is.

“Went here for quite a while. Sigung is a great teacher. All the other instructors are also incredible, Sifu Ellis, Sebok Jones, Sifu Cortez, Sifu Wilson. All of them are talented and dedicated martial artists and are amazing teachers. They regularly hold seminars with highly talented and revered martial artists from around the country. If you want to learn self defence and discipline, this is the place, where hard work and dedication is rewarded. Their training is tough, but well worth it. “I was at this gym when it was 24. After bouncing around to different gyms I decided to try it and I really like it. It’s never horribly crowded, the staff is friendly but mostly I find that it has a great gym culture. People put up their weights, don’t stand in front of the racks, don’t sit on the machine texting or hold three machines to get one workout. I love that if there is a ufc event on people have brought their chairs to make a small watch party as they stream the fights live…. I don’t like that they don’t have a drinking fountain for those of us that don’t tote bottles around…. I dislike that you can’t get paper towels in the men’s room rather only air hand dryers. The locker rooms are kind of gross and I’m not entertaining going into the steam room or sauna based on that.

All in all, this is a great gym where you can get a great workout“
