Disabled American Veterans Department in North Las Vegas VA Hospital

Came in around 4:30pm have been really sick the past 4 days decided to come in 12/6/21 and took awhile but they were pretty back up once the doctor saw me he apologized for everything and helped me out really appreciated it from a fellow vet. Second time I've come to ER and it's been good to me

I think the VA sometimes gets a bad rap! Our experience w has been great. My husband is the veteran and had a surgical procedure done on Monday. It was our first experience at the hospital. We arrived at 7:00 am and were checked in. At check in I was handed a piece of paper with a number that I could see on a board that showed his progress. Pre-op, in surgery, in recovery etc. when the nurse came to get him to take him back she made sure she had my cell number and let me know I would get text messages along the way keeping me updated. She told me once they got him all ready to go into the OR they would come get me to sit with him while he waited his turn. About 15 minutes...read full review

I'm a huge fan of the Las Vegas Medical Center! I've heard so many negative things about the VA and our Veterans but this place proves them all wrong. I never thought I'd actually say I enjoyed going to the Doctor, but I really do enjoy all of my appointments here. The facility is incredible and super clean and welcoming. Every single person I see that works there takes the time to greet everyone and ask if they need anything...even if they are just walking down the hall. There are water coolers throughout the facility as well as a Patriot store and Patriot Cafe.I have been retired now for 3 years and can honestly say that I have never had a bad experience here.
