BRITTANY K. was my stylist and she did a thorough consultation with me explaining color-theory in a way I could ACTUALLY understand! She helped me articulate what I didn’t like about my current color and in doing so also helped me find what I was craving in a new color. Brittany’s technique and execution made my visit incredibly enjoyable and comfortable and I left feeling not only refreshed and IN LOVE with my blonde again, but with another appointment scheduled because there is no way I’m missing out when the time comes for Brittany to work her magic in the future.

“I love this place! I see Malyn for my hair cuts and color and she nails it every time. Actually, to be totally honest, in my 33 years its the best hair cuts that I've ever consistently gotten. The vibe is really casual/relaxed/friendly, while still being clean and of high quality. They have a nail lady who does really cute designs (I haven't had her services yet but I plan to)! I'm from a big city and have been to all sorts of salons that feel overly boogie, expensive, and impersonal. This place feels like your mama's salon and its awesome.“

“I just moved to Dayton over a month ago from San Jose and was looking for a nail salon to get a pedicure and acrylic nails. I reviewed several salons and came across TRU Salon & Spa and I decided to give the salon a try by getting a pedicure first. I was impressed by the clean salon, polite employees, and ended up meeting Angelina to get my pedicure. She was very polite and knew exaccly what she was doing, I was very pleased with the service and the quality job of my pedicure. I asked if she did acryclic nails as well, and indeed she did provide this service. I made an appointment with the receptionist, who was also very nice, and I had found the salon provide hair cuts for curly hair as well, and made an appointment. Today, I had my acrylic nails done and Angelina perfomed an awesome job on my nails. Exactly what I was looking for and not painful whatsoever. I made another appointment and will be returning tomorrow for my curly hair cut and color. I believe I have found my one-stop salon for all of my services.“
