To the Sahara Vetco Team, I really wanted to take a moment and send you all a big THANK YOU. You were all incredibly informative and really helped our family during this hard time. Although, we had to put Dexter down, you guys were all very supportive and extremely professional . Thank you for being a safe space for him and for myself. I appreciated that you were all there for us while the tears rolled down and even after. To anyone reading this, Dexter's passing was not because of Vetco. I had the best Vet experience I've ever had yesterday. The staff is fantastic from the front desk to the Dr. My boy was so well taken care of & is already so much better today.I will absolutely keep going to that same Vetco in Petco at 10000 W Sahara Ave in the future. The whole staff is truly a notch above my numerous experiences with Banfield @ Petsmart.
It's so hard to find good exotics vet in Vegas but Dr. Callahan was super helpful when I had to bring my Guinea pig in for a bladder stone. I had trouble with other vets because they wouldn't give me enough education on how to properly care for my Guinea pig and would send me home with nothing even though I could tell my baby was clearly in distress. He very knowledgeable since he had similar problems with his own Guinea pigs and made sure to address all of my concerns. Surgery went by smoothly and my pig came home feeling a lot better. Could not recommend this place more!!
