Mike came out to fix my dryer and tried to scam me for $185 cleaning fee. He refused to repair the dryer claiming it was a fire hazard and stated that the dryer vent was clogged so unless he got the money he wouldn’t fix the machine. This contractor was provided to me thru a home warranty service request. This company is a total scam. The statement that my dryer vent was clogged was completely false because I then called a cleaning service to come out days later and NO CLOG at all. This company is a rip off. I don't even want to give them a one star. They came out to service my dryer under a warranty which I paid prior to their arrival $125. The technician Mike (who I believe is related to the owner but not sure) told me The insurance company doesn't cover the cleaning. To clean the inside of my dryer will cost me $120 . He would only accept cash..
In order to get to this he had to take the front of the machine off and the drum out. There's nothing on his report regarding this nor was any money turned in at the office that day. I wish I read the reviews before I allowed the insurance company to send this Mike person to my home. He’s a very rude person towards my 80 year old mother and should find a line of work where he doesn’t need to interact with people.
