I had a pilonidal cyst on my tailbone that was causing excruciating pain. Wait time was real fast especially if you go in the morning. They started me off with antibiotics and when the infection got to the surface of my skin they did an incision and drainage. It was a painful process especially because I’ve had trauma in that area before, but the staff was the epitome of good quality healthcare. They treated me with warmth and compassion. Dr.Liu did my procedure and was real nice explaining the process as we went along. Nurse Ellen was there keeping me calm and reminded me to manage my breathing. I came to UMC Quick Care because I fell down and injured my ankle. I waited about 90 minutes and then was personally escorted into a room by Rosa. Kathy and Stephanie helped me through triage process until I was seen by a very kind doctor who placed an air splint on my ankle after the x-rays were taken that he ordered. There was no more waiting once I was in the room and in 15 minutes we left with the pain level down, likely due to support from the splint. The next morning, the swelling was greatly reduced and the pain was minimal. My thanks to all who helped me.
