I came home to a hot house in August, Our 5ton air unit was dead, in its defense it was 21 years old! I called 3 different companies for bids and service as I am a multifamily contractor GC and like to make sure that I am getting excellent service but a fair price as well. As a new homeowner, when my a/c went out, panic set in and it was 100+ degree weather. After a quick search for solutions, I decided to call my home warranty service, hoping they would resolve the issue quickly. A technician was dispatched.
