I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Steve Lissau when my mother took a fall and suffered a wound on her forehead while staying at a hotel on the Strip. After leaving a voicemail, Dr. Lissau called me back promptly. I explained that my mother had stumbled a few hours earlier, that she was currently icing the area, and that we had applied Neosporin. The bleeding had stopped, and fortunately, she wasn't experiencing dizziness, nausea, or vision issues. Dr. Lissau requested that I send photos of the wound, including a close-up with the skin gently spread apart, so he could properly assess the severity and advise us on the next steps. After reviewing the pictures, he recommended cleaning the area and using sterile strips or a butterfly bandage to close the wound. Throughout our interaction, Dr. Lissau was incredibly patient, asking all the right questions and thoughtfully answering mine. His professionalism and calm demeanor provided much-needed reassurance during a stressful moment. Thanks to his expert advice, we were able to avoid an unnecessary trip to the ER and felt much more at ease about the situation. I highly recommend Dr. Lissau. He gave us peace of mind and saved us from hours of waiting and uncertainty at the hospital.
Dr. Lissau was extremely helpful with his diagnosing the issue. He was very thorough, kind and called the next day to check how everything was. Very highly skilled and would recommend him in a heart beat if your having health issues.
Dr. Lissau was so kind. He talked to me about my eye clot (subconjunctival hematoma) on the phone, and looked at a photo to diagnose me, without an appointment. When I arrived at night in Vegas for a work conference and saw my eye had a blood clot, I searched for urgent care doctors nearby. He explained that it was simply a blood clot, and harmless, and that I just need to wait it out, and not wear any contacts for the time being. Being on a work trip, in a hotel on the Strip, and having access to someone who was so helpful, quickly and effectively, was somewhat of a miracle. Thank you again for your help!
