While Element Cabinets represent themselves as a "custom cabinet maker the y are no more than a VERY expensive Home Depot that doesn't complete projects on time or deliver what was their clients' ordered! Plus, if there is/are any issues with the final product, as there were numerous in our $19+K project, their payment program - that requires 95% payment BEFORE delivery - makes it literally impossible to get them to rectify issues that are found at that late stage in the process! We attempted to get a reasonable discount for issues that still persist- and will never be rectified - and their response was to immediately slap a $7,000 lien on our house! I will never use this company again - and we do need a high quality cabinet maker for the 8-figure home we are in the process of designing. An absolutely terrible experience with the people from the owner on down, except for Donna, and DEFINITELY don't believe anything the salespeople tell you or try to say that the microscopic drawings are accurate.
We were a walk in potential client looking for cabinetry for our master bathroom. We were greeted by a friendly sales rep who told us he was finishing up with another client and would be with us in 5 min. He asked us to wait in the cabinet sample room and to look around. I picked the cabinet sample I liked while waiting. Twenty minutes later I stepped outside the room to the receptionist desk and asked if we had been forgotten. The receptionist apologized as we had been forgotten and told me that someone would be with us momentarily. I had hoped that we had not been forgotten because we were not inquiring about a full kitchen remodel. A few minutes passed and she came back and began asking us questions about our project and I asked if she would be our sales person. Apparently she was keeping us company while waiting for a sales rep. Another 10 minutes go by and a sales rep walks in the room. Overall they don't do custom work because all their cabinets are RTA. But he would contact the manufacturer and ask and that it could take up to 3+ months. In the meantime, he showed us a cabinet on the showroom floor that we could order in lieu of a custom cabinet. While he was showing us the show room exhibit cabinet that was located next to their offices, I saw the guy who asked us to wait in the sample room sitting at his desk eating while at least another 4 people were hanging out. The sales rep who was helping us said he could get me a quote and asked for my email. I never heard from him or anyone at Element. These people are just reps of RTA cabinet manufacturers and marking up cabinet prices and helping people with the layouts and calling themselves "designers". Well we found a custom cabinet maker in Las Vegas who wants our business.
Thanks for the ton of cardboard, left over material and four days of blowing saw dust out of my garage. Home Depot delivered appliances to my house, they took the packaging and trash. RC Wiley delivered furniture to my house and took to packaging and trash, just saying these are professional business I suppose. Updates reviews to come, once finally finished. Thanks to element I been into this project since the end of March, and ETA for final cabinets, and apparently the handles to the cabinets that were hung, end of may….
