My family and I usually have a great experience at this location. In fact, we prefer to drive 30 minutes from our home to come here, rather than go to the one closer, because of the consistently positive service. However, today's visit left me disappointed. I called ahead to let them know we'd be running about five minutes late for my daughter's appointment. The person I spoke with informed me of their 15-minute grace period, but her tone was dry and dismissive. While I was being friendly and polite, she seemed in a rush to get me off the phone. After the appointment, the doctor kindly offered to schedule the next visit a year in advance, which I appreciated, as I like to plan ahead due to my job at a large company where getting time off requires advanced notice. However, the receptionist at the front desk appeared visibly irritated by this request, even making a sarcastic remark about booking so far ahead. Again, I tried to keep the conversation light, explaining that my coworkers can be particular about time off, but her response was cold and unengaged. To make matters worse, while I was waiting, I overheard the front desk staff complaining about customers and walk-ins, venting about how overwhelmed they were because only three of them were working. While I understand the challenges of a busy workplace, airing grievances like this in front of customers is highly unprofessional and left a negative impression. While the doctor was excellent, the attitude of the office staff really detracted from the overall experience. Professionalism goes a long way, and unfortunately, this visit did not reflect the quality service we've come to expect.
Front desk people aren't very personable or friendly, very dry attitude. Selection isn't that great to choose from, bought two glasses regular and one sunglasses not a fan of either...
This is my 3rd time at this location & I will continue to come back. The customer service is exceptional from beginning to end. Destiny, Paulette, Shaun, Kelly & Leigh & of course Dr. Bayerkohler thank you again for everything and keep up the FANTASTIC WORK.
