Front staff really need to be on their A game when patients enter. No one greets you and being in the healthcare field myself that's so unacceptable. Front staff seem to enjoy talking even when you're right in front of them. They stop talking and look at you like you're the idiot. I can certainly say that not both of them but one of them seems more annoyed every time someone enters to check in she is also very rude on the phone as well. As a new patient I was aware that paperwork needed to be filled out but it took me an hour and a half to be seen and my daughter and I were scheduled at the same time with other patients at the same time thus putting our visit at 2 1/2 hours! That is ridiculous! Their scheduling is not the greatest. Will not be coming here again the only reason I did was because insurance acceptance for both my daughter and I. They need to train their front desk or front desk need a new job that they will actually enjoy being sincere to patients. Dr. Chang seems ok but seemed annoyed when I told her I will be only needing my prescription as I will purchase contacts somewhere else.
I tried making an appointment for me and husband and lady on the phone was so rude and of no help. She asked what insurance I had and I answered I wasn't sure, just as I was getting my card out of my wallet to let her know and she said, "Well, I don't know how I can help you!"I know it's best to have your info ready but a little courtesy goes a looooooong way. She didn't seem to have any patience and I just decided to take my business somewhere else. Guess they don't need the business.
Came here because this office accepts my insurance. It was quick to make an appointment. I arrived a few minutes before my scheduled time (15 minutes) to give myself time to complete necessary new patient forms. When I arrived the front desk staff seemed annoyed instead of welcoming. I come from the customer service industry and they all need training or find another job they will be happy at. During my visit, the doctor, which I don't know his name, seemed rushed which is perfectly fine cause i wanted to go home too. I apparently was the last patient. I waited for about 45 minutes before being seen. When I asked about additional colored contacts he said he doesn't have time and we'll do it next time on my follow up visit in a week. I was definitely not happy with my experience. My former eye doctors in San Diego were amazing. They respected my time by scheduling patience accordingly. It seems that they have other offices and the other office ladies seemed much nicer on the phone.
