First time client. I arrived 10 minutes early to a locked office with no one there. When calling the number a man answered saying they were running late and would be there 15 minutes after my scheduled appointment. No apologies, no call in advance that the therapist would be late. Very unprofessional and not how I would want to start a therapist/patient relationship.
Honestly, you're better off finding someone who doesn't have their business line set to automatic voicemail.Update: called before noon (11:30am) to confirm appointment time (I needed to confirm the time because I take public transportation), doesn't call back until nearing 2pm to leave a voicemail saying I wasn't scheduled "as far as they know". Then another voicemail at 3pm listing the two times I had to reschedule, gave me the next days openings and one final time at 5pm. I lost interest seeing this Counceling group awhile ago. Would not recommend, especially if you need information in a timely manner.
My wife and I saw Dr. Jan Flint one time. The doctor was late to our appointment even though she was aware that we only had limited time for the appointment because we had to take the time off of our workday to go to the appointment. We were in the appointment, the doctor kept asking us the same questions as if she has a brain disease and kept forgetting our answers to her. After the appointment, I attempted to retrieve a doctors note from the doctor to provide to my work. For two weeks, I called multiple times and even gave my work's fax number multiple times and even attempted to go to the office to get it. All were unsuccessful attempts. The doctor eventually reached out to me in regards to the note stating that she usually write notes for returning clients and charges $20 fee for them. She then preceded to ask why we weren't returning which I found very unprofessional. I'm sure she was a great doctor in her prime, but if anyone I know needs to seek professional help, I would definitely NOT refer them to her.
